This role involves working with business stakeholders, system users, and vendors to evaluate requirements, analyze risks, oversee vendor SDLC activities, and support the delivery of secure, reliable systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze contract language, technical requirements, and policy documents to ensure vendor compliance.
- Gather and translate business and technical requirements into detailed technical design documents.
- Develop and support business cases, feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and scope documentation.
- Oversee and manage vendor software development life cycle activities as well as project development processes.
- Evaluate vendor adherence to IT contract requirements and escalate issues as needed.
- Identify and communicate technical risks related to application system changes.
- Facilitate technical issue resolution by coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholder groups.
- Analyze business problems, operational processes, and constraints to define functional requirements and system objectives.
- Use a ticketing system to track incidents, monitor progress, and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare or evaluate system design documents, specification packages, and implementation plans.
- Coordinate with business partners and vendors to support the rollout of enterprise-wide solutions.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
- Collaborate closely with IT functional areas including development, QA, architecture, and security.
- Manage and coordinate small projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Lead and participate in system walk-throughs, reviews, and requirement validation sessions.
- Manage tasks and workflows in Jira (or a similar tool) to support release and deployment activities.
- Build and maintain productive working relationships with vendors, business leaders, and agency partners.
- Strong experience reviewing technical contract requirements and assessing vendor compliance.
- Proven ability to gather, document, and translate complex requirements into clear technical design documentation.
- Experience developing business cases, feasibility analyses, and cost-benefit assessments.
- Familiarity with vendor SDLC processes and IT project lifecycle management.
- Experience with Jira or a similar tool for tracking tasks, changes, and releases.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to coordinate across diverse stakeholder groups and manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
