Inventory Data Management
- Create and maintain part numbers with verified configuration, hazard classification, tariff codes, and descriptions.
- Perform clean-up tasks such as merges, cross-references, unit-of-measure updates, and formatting corrections.
- Enter HTS codes and system notes to maintain data integrity.
- Identify and code shelf-life inventory accurately.
- Run monthly expiration reports and coordinate with warehouses and suppliers to manage aging inventory.
- Prepare scrap listings and support inventory adjustments.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports (status, expired products, error checks, sales performance, etc.).
- Interpret trends and support decision-making, including write-offs and scrap actions.
- Enter work orders and validate costing.
- Support stock rotations and supplier stocking packages.
- Manage supplier portal access and internal training content.
- Assist Accounts Payable with discrepancies and cost adjustments.
- Participate in system testing, special projects, and process improvements.
Experience & Knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 2 years of office or inventory-related experience (or 2 years with the company).
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data organization).
- Experience with ERP or inventory systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).
- Strong data entry and reconciliation skills.
- Understanding of HTS/HTC codes, hazardous classifications, and shelf-life tracking.
- Comfort working with detailed systems and reports.
- Accuracy in data validation and trend interpretation.
- Ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Comfortable interacting with internal teams, warehouses, and suppliers.
- Capable of documenting processes and training content.
