What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enrollment Specialist position at Daytona State College?
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree
- Six (6) months of experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Informs and assists students with the enrollment and registration processes. This includes accessing the registration web page and assisting students with completion of required forms and documents. Provide accurate information to the public (students, parents, staff and faculty) regarding applicable Department/College and State/Federal regulations, policies and procedures.
- Collect data and produce monthly reports of student appeals. Serve as department liaison with faculty, administrators, Records Department and the Question & Answer Center.
- Resolves registration issues that become barriers to enrollment. Processes administrative changes, reviews transcripts, request documentation, process reinstatements and withdrawals
- Support the department goals and objectives and perform other related tasks upon request by the supervisor.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned and directed by the President or their designee.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Must have good customer service skills.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office and other computer software programs.
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Must have strong organizational skills, as well as effective oral and written communication.
