Responsibilities

• Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
• Sort laundry items according to type, color, and fabric care instructions to prevent damage or color bleeding
• Perform dry cleaning processes for delicate or special fabric items requiring specialized handling
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and organized for optimal operation
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and coordinate with management for replenishment needs
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures when working with cleaning chemicals and machinery
• Assist in delivering clean linens and fabrics to designated areas promptly to support daily operations

Skills

• Proven experience in laundry operations or housekeeping within a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred
• Strong knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal
• Familiarity with dry cleaning processes for delicate fabrics or garments requiring special care
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure all items meet cleanliness standards and quality expectations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably
