Housekeeper Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Housekeeper with excellent time management and communication skills to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards, works quickly and efficiently, and provides outstanding customer service to guests.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare guest rooms efficiently and thoroughly, completing each room in 25 minutes or less while maintaining quality standards.
- Strip and restock rooms quickly and accurately.
- Set up and organize housekeeping carts at the beginning of each shift for maximum efficiency.
- Clean up to 15 rooms between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, ensuring all assigned rooms are guest-ready by check-in time.
- Maintain cleanliness in hallways, storage areas, and other assigned spaces.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Provide friendly, professional service to guests and respond to requests promptly.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Proven housekeeping experience (hotel experience preferred).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull moderate loads and stand for long periods.
Schedule:
Typically 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, with flexibility for weekends and holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.48 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
