Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of all public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting floors regularly.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to support hotel operations.
• Conduct detailed floor care tasks such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing to keep all flooring looking fresh and well-maintained.
• Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, and amenities to guarantee guest satisfaction and operational readiness.
• Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff alike.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold the hotel’s quality standards.
• Assist with janitorial tasks during special projects or peak times to support overall cleanliness efforts across the property.

Requirements

• Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is highly preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude that enhances guest experiences.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures related to industrial cleaning practices is advantageous.
• Experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is beneficial but not required. Pay: $12.48 - $13.00 per hour
