One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to support operations at their facility in Detroit, MI location.

Responsibilities
- Program CNC machines using G-code/M-code and CAM software
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines
- Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for machining operations
- Optimize machining processes for efficiency, cycle time, and quality
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues
- 3 years of experience in CNC machining and programming
- Strong knowledge of G-code/M-code and CNC operations
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar)
- Experience with multi-axis (3, 4, or 5-axis) CNC machines
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Hands-on experience with precision measuring tools
