One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to support tooling and production operations at their facility in Madison, WI.
Pay Rate: $27/hr - $29/hr

Responsibilities
- Build, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain tooling, dies, fixtures, and related components
- Perform die setups, adjustments, and preventive maintenance activities
- Diagnose tooling and equipment issues to minimize downtime and improve production efficiency
- Operate tool room machinery including grinders, mills, lathes, and machining equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
- Inspect tooling and finished components using precision measuring instruments
- Support production teams with tooling modifications and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain maintenance records, tooling documentation, and work orders within CMMS systems
- Journeyman Tool & Die certification is a must
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and tooling repair skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
- Experience operating machining equipment such as mills, grinders, and lathes
