One of our manufacturing clients is looking for CMM Programmer at Cleveland, OH location for their facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, program, and optimize CMM inspection programs for new and existing parts
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T to create accurate inspection routines
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections using CMM equipment
- Analyze inspection results and generate inspection and dimensional reports
- Troubleshoot CMM programs and measurement issues to ensure accuracy and repeatability
- Maintain and verify calibration of CMM equipment and inspection tools
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions related to dimensional nonconformances
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve inspection processes
- Maintain inspection documentation and comply with company quality standards
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or technical diploma in Quality, Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–5 years of experience in CMM programming and dimensional inspection
- Proficiency with CMM software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
- Experience using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
