Qualifications and responsibilities for this Civil Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required
- Actively working toward, or currently hold, PE licensure in the State of Wisconsin (required within 1 year if not already obtained)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation design and construction
- Oversight of infrastructure projects including roads and bridges; manage inspections and ensure regulatory compliance
- Prepare engineering plans, construction documents, and cost estimates for county projects
- Administer permitting, right-of-way acquisitions, and local bridge improvement programs
- Supervise construction and manage engineering support staff including technicians
- Collaborate with state and local agencies, providing professional guidance and technical expertise
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
