Position Summary
A Dave’s Fresh Marketplace Warehouse Packer is responsible for receiving product, storing product, and building pallets for deliveries. All Store locations, as well as Commissary depend on the efficiency of the Warehouse operations. A Warehouse Packer plays a vital role in providing each location with needed products to ensure efficient store operations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prior Warehouse experience preferred, but not required
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Receives product deliveries, ensuring order and invoice accuracy
- Checking shipments for damaged products, out-of-date products, and/or out-of-temperature products
- Verifies temperature of delivery trucks prior to unloading product
- Unloads, stocks, and organizes product once accuracy of received delivery is confirmed
- Sustains a high level of product knowledge and product storage necessities
- Putting away cases of product into coolers/freezers and other product storage areas
- Maintains organized stock areas
- Verifies temperature of trucks prior to loading trucks for deliveries
- Strict adherence to all established Dave’s Fresh Marketplace policies and “Standard Operating Procedures”
- Requires safe operation and usage of equipment – I.E., hand trucks, boxcutters, forklifts

- Once hired, employees must complete forklift certification training to safely operate the forklift
- Maintains cleanliness of work areas; completes all cleaning tasks as needed
- Completes all Warehouse logs as required
- Strict adherence to all Food Safety & Sanitation practices
- Maintains clear communication with Warehouse Manager at all times
- Strict adherence to the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) plan
- Follows all safety practices and procedures
- Performing other duties as assigned/needed
