POSITION SUMMARY
A Dave’s Fresh Marketplace Mechanical Services Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of all electrical, plumbing, and food service equipment. Mechanical Services Technicians are tasked with performing routine inspections of each store location, while additionally addressing all concerns brought forth by the stores on the Maintenance Request List.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•
Experience with electrical work preferred, but not required
•
Must be 18 years of age or older
•
Must possess a valid state driver’s license
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
•
Reviewing Maintenance Log with Maintenance Supervisor, responding to concerns as directed
•
Prioritizing customer and employee safety concerns, as directed by Maintenance Supervisor
•
Performing preventative maintenance, repairs and replacements on equipment for all locations
•
Installing new equipment and/or moving existing equipment as requested
•
Address plumbing issues and/or contact the proper service agent for assistance – I.E., leaking sink drains, leaking faucets, all restroom plumbing issues, etc.
•
Address electrical issues and/or contact the proper service agent for assistance – I.E., interior and exterior lighting, coolers, power supplies, new wiring, etc.
•
Address water heater leaks and issues
•
Maintain food service equipment in all store departments – including Commissary and Commissary Bakery equipment
•
Ensures cleanliness of all work areas
•
Clean worktop condensers as needed/requested
•
Maintain clear communication with Maintenance Supervisor at all times
•
Identifies opportunities for better efficiency and other improvements; makes recommendations to Maintenance Supervisor
•
Completes all logs as required
•
Adhering to department-specific dress code policy
•
Strict adherence to all Food Safety & Sanitation procedures
•
Adhering to all Dave’s Fresh Marketplace policies, procedures, and practices including signing, pricing, and loss prevention
•
Follows all safety practices and procedures
•
Performing other duties as assigned/needed
