The Corporate Laboratory Technician is an entry-level position. Once trained, you willbe responsible forexecuting tests tomonitorquality of products throughout the Company per established methods and lab practices, in a professional manner following all health and safety rules.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

- Execute testing per lab procedures and policies manual
- Use the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS),workbooksorCertificate ofAnalysis to log in samples and record test results.
- Assistin coordination and execution of routine and project sample testing.
- Report off-quality findings to Lab Manager.
- Maintain,operateand validate instrumentation with a thorough knowledge of functionality of equipment.
- Follow directions and Standard Operating Procedures accurately.
- Communicate special testing/sample needs to other divisions within the company.
- Fulfill customer proposal requests.
- Knowledgeable of company products and specifications; knowledge of office functions, UPS procedures, sample logs, result archiving and retrieval and ordering lab supplies.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must have successfully completed some college-level coursework in science and math.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of and experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior laboratory experience.
- Prior LIMS experience.
- A demonstrated ability to focus on and manage detailed methodologies in a multitasking environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
- Occasionally exposed to high noise levels, strong odors, varying temperatures, and biohazardous conditions.
- Requires prolonged sitting and movement throughout office/work locations, as well as occasional use of computers and office equipment.
- Must frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb or balance.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and identify potential workplace hazards.
- Requires the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs.
