What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Crisis Clinician position at Danville-Pittsylvania Community Services?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works with the management team to provide for overall management, supervision, and program development of the Crisis Services team; ensures team meets productivity, budget, accreditations, and licensure requirements; develops and maintains working relationships with individuals served, family members and/or care givers, other DPCS programs, and other agencies working with services; provides direct services to individuals served.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work that includes coursework for licensure by the Virginia Department of Health Professions as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner in Virginia required. Successful completion of the graduate level coursework required from the licensing board to begin licensure supervision/residency must be documented on the graduate degree transcript and provided upon request.
- Minimum of two years of experience working with adults and/or children and their families with serious mental illness, serious emotional disturbance, and/or developmental disability services to include crisis intervention
- Experience with crisis intervention
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
ANNUAL SALARY RANGE
$55,255 - $96,697
20% Increase for Licensure
10% Increase for Resident/Supervisee
$5,000 Sign-On Bonus
Shift Differential: $2.00 for 2nd shift; $3.00 for 3rd shift
