What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crisis Services Registered Nurse (RN) position at Danville-Pittsylvania Community Services?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments; assessing physical health needs; making appropriate referrals to community physicians; providing management and administration of medication in conjunction with the psychiatrist; providing of a range of treatment, rehabilitation, and support services; and sharing shift-management responsibility with other staff. Provides direct case management services to individuals, conducts medication education, and performs necessary documentation. Provides all aspects of medication services to individuals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Successful completion of educational requirements for a Registered Nurse with a valid RN license to practice in Virginia
- Valid drivers license and safe driving record
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
ANNUAL SALARY RANGE
$57,001 - $99,751
$5,000 Sign on Bonus
Shift Differential: $2.00 for 2nd shift; $3.00 for 3rd shift
