Tax Para-Professional / Legal Administrative & Tax Assistant (Onsite 4-5X a week)
Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000 base salary, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Tax & Administrative Support
- Organize, process, and input client tax data using a paperless workflow system
- Manage document flow, electronic signatures, and client correspondence via SafeSend and other secure portals
- Assist in assembling, reviewing, and finalizing individual and business tax return packages for client delivery
- Maintain accurate client records, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding items and compliance deadlines
- Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to partners and tax preparers, including scheduling, file maintenance, and client communications
- Perform bookkeeping and reconciliation tasks in QuickBooks (desktop and online)
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and basic financial reports as needed
- Support the tax preparation process by organizing financial records and assisting with year-end bookkeeping adjustments
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing professional and timely responses to inquiries
- Assist with onboarding new clients and maintaining engagement documentation
- Collaborate closely with the tax and accounting teams to ensure efficient workflow throughout the year and during tax season
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping, accounting, or tax support role—public accounting experience preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with SafeSend or similar document management/e-signature platforms a plus
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism when dealing with clients and colleagues
