Machinist

This role is responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. This role requires attention to detail and willingness to learn. The role requires strict adherence to safety guidelines such as wearing PPE, maintaining a clean work area. This position is essential to meeting production schedules while maintaining a safe, accident-free workplace.

• Operate CNC mills, lathes, or other machining equipment to produce parts within specified tolerances.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and ongoing quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and CMMs
• Maintain documentation of inspection data.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Reports issues or problems with production to immediate supervisor.
• Follow all safety procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE (eye protection, hearing protection, gloves if necessary).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and ensure safety standards are met.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures during machine maintenance or setup.
• Participate in safety training sessions and safety audits as required.
