As an IT Operations Support Technician on our around-the-clock operations team, you’ll be the first to respond when the enterprise needs you most. You’ll keep networks, systems, and applications stable and healthy—using your technical instincts, situational awareness, and command of monitoring tools to maintain uptime and protect performance in real time.
Shift Schedule:
Day Shift – Wednesday (alternating) through Saturday, 0530–1730 ET

What You Will Do
Stay Ahead of the Mission
- Maintain full visibility into the enterprise environment: what’s healthy, what’s changing, and what needs attention.
- Apply operational intelligence to connect technical events to mission impact—and raise flags early to prevent bigger issues.
- Monitor infrastructure, applications, and services across a hybrid environment, responding quickly to alerts and anomalies.
- Conduct first-line triage, validate alerts, distinguish symptoms from root causes, and assess scope and impact.
- Use logs, monitoring tools, and dashboards to identify patterns, recurring issues, or early signs of degradation—before they become outages.
- Correlate events across systems to spot performance anomalies and emerging risks.
- Open, track, and drive tickets from start to finish, collaborating closely with Tier 2 and Tier 3 teams.
- Deliver calm, factual, mission-focused communication during incidents and planned changes.
- Execute standard operating procedures and coordinate authorized outages and planned maintenance.
- Maintain clean, clear documentation—ensuring seamless handoffs and full situational awareness for the next shift.

What You Bring
Experience
- 3 years in IT operations, NOC support, systems administration, or related technical roles.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration, plus a solid grasp of networking, storage, and virtualization concepts.
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (SolarWinds, Splunk, Nagios, BMC, etc.).
- Familiarity with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow, including ticket lifecycle management.
- Understanding of ITIL incident, event, and change management fundamentals.
- Ability to work on a shift schedule (including nights, weekends, and holidays when needed).
- Strong documentation habits and commitment to clean ticket hygiene and smooth shift turnover.
- Clear, calm, concise communication—even under pressure.
- Team-oriented, coachable, service-minded mindset.
- DoD 8140 IAT Level II (or ability to obtain).
- Top Secret/SCI clearance (active).

- Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $122k-132k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
