Position Summary
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll, while ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial records with GAAP, NCUA regulations, and internal policies. This role supervises and develops accounting staff, manages month-end and year-end close processes, prepares financial statements and budgets, and supports senior leadership with financial analysis and strategic planning. Playing a key role in maintaining strong internal controls and driving organizational efficiency. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA or advanced degree preferred), at least five years of progressively responsible accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities, and a strong understanding of GAAP and financial institution standards
