Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities
- Actively manages purchase order workflows in SAP to support business needs.
- Works with appropriate parties to resolve invoice issues to minimize overdue invoices.
- Identifies and resolves potential supplier problems.
- Ensures goods are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
- Introduce and manage efficiencies through effective purchasing.
- Monitors cost and supplier performance.
- Maintains files and records related to purchasing activities.
How You'll Make An Impact:
- Placing Timely Purchase Requirements maintaining customer fulfillment.
- Mastering and Maintaining master data elements for efficient purchase execution.
- Maintains on time and in full deliveries with suppliers.
- Proactively manages supplier relations, confidently bringing teams together for problem resolutions.
- Must be a leader.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years purchasing/procurement experience
- ERP system experience
- Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desired Skills:
- SAP and/or Kinaxis experience desired
- APICS Certification Desired
