Brand Management Consultant
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90038
Onsite Requirement: 5 days onsite at 5555 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Overview
The Brand Management and Marketing team leads the development of global strategic, long-range property and marketing plans to support key properties and franchises within Paramount’s Products and Experiences division. This team serves as the central point of coordination across franchises, insights, licensing, retail, and content teams.
We are seeking a senior-level Brand Management Consultant with strong licensing and brand strategy experience, ideally within consumer products, toys, entertainment, or franchise-driven brands.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of long-range property plans that manage the lifecycle for key properties and franchises across consumer demographics
- Lead day-to-day coordination with partners across hardlines, softlines, live experiences, publishing, corporate franchise, and content teams
- Analyze consumer and market trends to develop data-driven brand strategies
- Review and manage approvals of marketing materials
- Develop pitch materials and strategic presentations to support business initiatives
- Partner with research teams to uncover insights that shape strategic direction
- Identify additional research and consumer insight opportunities
- Collaborate with retail and licensing teams to support sell-in strategies
- Represent the department in cross-functional and cross-company meetings
- Lead strategy discussions and communicate brand direction across stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in brand management, franchise marketing, licensing, or brand strategy
- Licensing experience, especially within consumer products, toys, entertainment, or franchise brands
- Experience supporting or partnering with brands such as Mattel, toy companies, or licensed consumer products organizations
- Strong strategic thinking and communication skills
- Advanced PowerPoint and presentation development experience
- Experience leading meetings and presenting to executive or cross-functional audiences
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter who works well with minimal direction
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
Compensation
- Pay Rate: $43.00 to $57.33/hr.
