The Account Manager acts as the primary point of contact for all client-related needs, is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finances of their assigned clients, and oversees a staff of bookkeepers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Respond to client inquiries and requests in a timely manner, disseminating client information internally as appropriate
- Coordinate workflow of bookkeeping team
- Review and distribute mail
- Oversee daily client activity, including requests and timely follow up on all outstanding matters
- Review work of bookkeepers (AP/AR, cash receipt and journal entry coding, general ledger, payroll, and financial statement review)
- Cash management by reviewing bank balances and statements and approving transfers as needed
- Download and monitor credit card activity for fraud alerts and credit score issues
