Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Follow the software development life cycle and adhere to standard procedures.
- Support acquisition-related work for the Kronos iSeries system.
- Research, troubleshoot, and resolve system and interface issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Assist with project and product releases.
- Participate in design and development assignments.
- Develop a strong understanding of assigned applications and system architecture.
- Conduct research on new technologies and industry trends as needed.
- Deliver work in alignment with project plans and timelines.
- Collaborate with business analysts to gather and refine requirements.
- Participate in troubleshooting complex system issues.
- Provide innovative solutions for evolving business and technical requirements.
Pay Policies / Configuration:
- Interpret and translate complex pay policy requirements from Payroll Service Centers and Compensation teams.
- Configure and maintain UKG WFM and Kronos iSeries Timekeeper systems.
- Support system enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance activities.
- Coordinate testing, documentation, and release activities as assigned.
- Perform light application development when required.
Hardware / Time Clocks:
- Provide second-level support for UKG WFM and Kronos time clock hardware and software.
- Support end users across multiple locations.
Customer Support:
- Troubleshoot timekeeping system issues and identify configuration-related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including configuration specialists, developers, payroll teams, and support services.
- Support major initiatives such as payroll consolidation and system deployments.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree preferred.
- 3 years of relevant experience in WFM/Kronos systems.
- Strong knowledge of UKG WFM and Kronos iSeries Timekeeper.
- Experience with system configuration, troubleshooting, and support.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts clearly.
- Experience working with cross-functional and matrixed teams.
