Job Overview:
Pay Range: $45hr - $50hr
Responsibilities:
- Own installation, configuration, upgrade, and patching of IBM webMethods components including Integration Server, Universal Messaging, Broker, Command Central, My webMethods Server (MWS), and Optimize.
- Manage and maintain multiple environments (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD) ensuring consistency and governance.
- Plan and execute platform upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime.
- Perform certificate installations and manage secure partner integrations.
- Provide L3 production support, lead incident calls, and drive root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
- Analyze logs, heap dumps, and thread dumps to resolve JVM and runtime issues.
- Coordinate with vendor support teams for critical issues and escalations.
- Monitor system health, performance metrics, and message backlogs proactively.
- Perform performance tuning, JVM optimization, and capacity planning.
- Design and maintain High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
- Manage user access, roles, and security configurations including LDAP integration.
- Configure SSL, certificates, and secure communication channels.
- Support audit, compliance, and security reviews.
- Automate deployments, maintenance tasks, and health checks using scripting and Command Central.
- Develop and maintain operational runbooks and SOPs.
- Collaborate with development teams for deployments and environment readiness.
- Provide technical guidance to L2 and junior administrators.
- Participate in architecture discussions and integration design initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience in IBM webMethods administration.
- Experience supporting enterprise integration platforms in 247 production environments.
- Knowledge of DR, backup, recovery, and release management processes.
Skills:
- Deep understanding of Integration Server architecture and enterprise integration patterns.
- Knowledge of messaging systems and API management concepts.
- Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
- Strong expertise in JVM tuning and performance optimization.
- Working knowledge of databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage critical incidents.
- Familiarity with automation, scripting, and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to cloud or hybrid integration platforms is a plus.
- webMethods or integration platform certifications preferred.
