Job Title: IT Business and Security Analyst

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• Deep understanding of HIPAA Security Rule and NIST frameworks.
• Knowledge of standards like HL7 or FHIR for secure communication between healthcare platforms.
• Ability to balance clinical usability with risk reduction.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clinical staff and administrators to define system requirements for managing Electronic Health Records (EHR) or billing.
• Identify bottlenecks in patient flow or data entry and recommend technical solutions.
• Translate complex technical features into actionable training for healthcare staff.
• Focus on the protection of Electronic Protected Health Information (ePHI) and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular audits to identify vulnerabilities in system architecture and data flows.
• Implement least-privilege access and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for data security.
• Detect and respond to security threats and lead the recovery process while documenting findings.
• Manage Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with system vendors to ensure compliance with security standards.

Nice to Have:

• Health care specific certifications such as HCISPP or C PHIMS.

Skills:

• Effective collaboration with product, data, and business teams.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Functional and domain knowledge of the Pharma sector.

Qualification And Education:

• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
• CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor).
• CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional).
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
• Experience with essential compliance documentation such as Security Risk Assessments (SRA) and Business Associate Agreements (BAA).

Salary : $55 - $60
