About the Firm

For nearly three decades, our firm has stood as a premier plaintiff's personal injury powerhouse serving Boca Raton and South Florida. Known for our compassion toward clients and our aggressive, uncompromising approach in the courtroom, we have recovered tens of millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for victims of life-altering accidents. We handle high-stakes, high-value injury claims-including complex medical malpractice and catastrophic injury cases-and we are currently looking to add an energetic, skilled Trial Attorney to our growing South Florida team.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Plaintiff's Personal Injury Trial Attorney who will primarily focus on managing and litigating complex medical malpractice claims and catastrophic injury cases (such as traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and wrongful death).

The ideal candidate does not need to have spent their entire career exclusively handling medical malpractice cases, but some prior exposure to or foundational experience with medical malpractice or complex injury litigation is required. We are seeking a versatile civil litigator with strong trial instincts who can adapt quickly, master technical medical files, and leverage modern litigation technology to move cases efficiently toward maximum recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Case Ownership: Manage a select caseload of high-value plaintiff's files from initial investigation and filing through discovery, mediation, and jury trial.

  • Litigation & Trial Practice: Conduct depositions (plaintiffs, defendants, treating physicians, and corporate representatives), draft substantive motions, prepare comprehensive mediation briefs, and act as lead or second-chair counsel in jury trials.

  • Expert Collaboration: Identify, retain, and collaborate closely with elite medical experts, accident reconstructionists, and life-care planners to construct powerful liability and damages arguments.

  • Medical Record Mastery: Review and analyze voluminous medical histories, hospital records, and complex audit trails to pin down key details in malpractice and catastrophic injury timelines.

  • Client Advocacy: Maintain close, empathetic communication with injured clients and grieving families, ensuring they are prepared and supported through every stage of the litigation cycle.

  • Tech-Driven Efficiency: Utilize the firm's cutting-edge practice management, legal research, and trial presentation technologies to maintain a highly organized, paperless workflow.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Licensure: Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar. Board Certification by The Florida Bar in Civil Trial Law is strongly preferred (or an active timeline/intent to achieve certification).

  • Experience: 5 years of personal injury experience. Prior exposure to medical malpractice litigation, nursing home neglect, or complex catastrophic injury claims is required. Board-certified is preferred.

  • Courtroom Experience: Proven experience drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, handling contested hearings, and participating in trial preparation (first or second-chair trial experience is a major plus).

  • Tech-Savvy Mindset: Highly proficient with modern law firm tech stacks, including cloud-based case management software, document management systems, advanced legal research platforms, and digital trial presentation tools.

  • Attributes: Exceptional work ethic, strong writing skills, and a true passion for representing individuals against large corporations and insurance companies.

Benefits

  • Health, dental, vision insurance
  • 401(k) match up to 3%
  • Competitive wages (salary bonuses/overrides on settlements and verdicts)
  • Ability to work hybrid as needed
