Salary: $90,000-$130,000 Bonus

Position Overview
The Tax Manager is responsible for overseeing the tax compliance and planning processes for our clients. This role involves managing tax preparation, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing strategic tax planning and advice to help clients minimize their tax liabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Review and analyze complex tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize clients' tax positions.
- Provide guidance on tax-related issues, including changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members in tax-related tasks and professional development.
- Coordinate with external tax authorities and manage audits effectively.
- Prepare and present detailed tax reports and recommendations to clients and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or tax-related roles.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
