Job Title: Tax Manager 
Job Location: Hybrid
Job Salary: $125k - $150k (DOE)
Requirements: 5 Years of Public Accounting External Audit Experience

 

A respected and growing CPA firm is seeking a Tax Manager to lead client engagements and mentor junior staff in a collaborative, insight-driven environment. This firm partners with privately held businesses and high-net-worth individuals, delivering proactive tax strategies and deep advisory relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and review complex tax engagements for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
• Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients across industries.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop staff accountants and seniors.
• Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for added value.
• Stay current on tax law changes and contribute to firm-wide thought leadership.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• CPA license required.
• 5 years of public accounting experience, with a focus on tax.
• Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent communication and client service abilities.
• Experience with tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx) and Microsoft Office Suite.
