Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Manager to oversee our tax compliance and planning activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting and tax regulations, ensuring that our organization adheres to all tax laws while optimizing tax strategies. This role will involve managing tax-related projects and collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial performance.
• Assist in tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
• Provide guidance and support to junior tax staff and other departments regarding tax matters.
• Stay current on tax law changes and their implications for the organization.
• Conduct tax research and analysis to provide insight into complex tax issues.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred, will accept EA.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Base Salary of $115,000 - $170,000 DOE
