Role Overview:As a member of the Accounting team, the Accounting and Operations Manager role is focused on financial activities, including helping with financial statements, accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with budgeting, client interaction, ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This position has potential upward mobility, with the opportunity to grow as the company grows.Key Responsibilities:Sending out invoices, and maintaining tight control over accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Prepare and review financial statements, such as balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow statements. Maintain and reconcile accounts, including general ledgers, financial records, and databases.Process financial transactions and ensure proper documentation. Assist with the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts. Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential issues. Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and answering questions. Review financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance. Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and other financial records. Identify and resolve discrepancies. Provide financial data and reports to management. Stay up-to-date on accounting standards and regulations. Qualifications:· A Bachelor’s degree with a focus in accounting, business, finance, math, economics· 2-3 years of professional accounting experience· No prior experience with tax credits is necessary· Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and deadline driven environment· Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, strong written & verbal communication skills· Experienced in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, and QuickBooks· A valid United States driver’s license
Salary : $50,000 - $70,000
