Key Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation and review of corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
- Provide strategic tax planning and consultation to clients, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance on tax issues and developing their skills.
- Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure the organization remains compliant and to identify potential tax savings opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and tax compliance.
- Assist in the preparation of tax provision calculations and documentation for audits.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's degree in Taxation preferred.
- Active CPA license is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
- Proven experience in supervising teams and managing client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
