Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Litigation Associate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate and business litigation, with a focus on complex disputes and creditors' rights. This role involves representing clients in a variety of litigation matters related to real estate and business, while providing expert legal counsel and strategic guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in commercial real estate litigation and business disputes in state and federal courts.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including initial pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, and appeals.
• Draft and review legal documents, including motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions on various matters pertaining to commercial real estate and business law.
• Advise clients on their rights and obligations in property disputes and partnership conflicts.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to resolve disputes efficiently and effectively.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure comprehensive legal support for clients.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Barred in CA
• 7 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a focus on real estate and business law.
• Strong understanding of  commercial real estate disputes, property disputes, creditors' rights and related legal issues.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
