We are a rapidly growing public accounting firm located near the Woodbury, NY area. We are an innovative, tech-forward organization that is seeing significant growth. We have about 30 current employees, and looking to expand significantly. 

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager to lead our tax department. The ideal candidate will oversee tax compliance, planning, and reporting for high-net-worth individuals and corporations, ensuring adherence to tax regulations and maximizing tax efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the tax compliance and preparation process for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
• Review and oversee tax returns including Form 1040, 1065, 1120, 1041, and 1031 exchanges.
• Provide strategic tax planning services and guidance for high-net-worth individuals (HNWI).
• Collaborate with clients to understand their tax needs and develop tailored solutions.
• Conduct tax research to stay updated on tax laws and regulations, and implement changes as necessary.
• Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills.
• Prepare and review tax provisions and financial statement disclosures for corporate clients.
• Assist clients with audits and inquiries from tax authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, with a focus on high-net-worth individuals and corporate tax.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Experience with tax compliance, tax preparation, and tax review processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
