Senior Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead and manage engineering projects in various sectors including healthcare, education, federal, commercial, and aviation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and project management, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from concept through completion.
• Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analysis to ensure design integrity and compliance with industry standards.
• Prepare and review technical documentation including specifications, reports, and project plans.
• Collaborate with architects, project engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems within projects.
• Conduct site inspections and oversee installation of mechanical systems to ensure quality and adherence to project requirements.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to mechanical engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in healthcare, education, federal, commercial, or aviation sectors.
• Proven experience in project engineering and management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a thorough understanding of mechanical systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
