Senior Hardware Systems Test Engineer (Hybrid)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Systems Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing and implementing comprehensive test systems for our hardware products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware testing, proficiency in Linux, and a passion for ensuring product quality through innovative testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for hardware systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define testing requirements and specifications
- Utilize Linux-based tools to automate and streamline testing processes
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on product performance
- Identify and troubleshoot hardware issues during testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to enhance product design for testability (DFT)
- Support the integration of new testing tools and methodologies
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Ability to design comprehensive test plans and cases
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware testing
- Strong proficiency in Linux and scripting languages
- Experience with Systems Engineering principles
- Knowledge of Python programming for test automation
Nice to haves:
- Familiarity with LabView and TestStand for automated testing
- Understanding of DFT concepts and implementation
- Familiarity with OSI Model and networking concepts
- Proficiency in C is a plus
