- Utilize estimating software such as HCSS and HeavyBid to generate accurate bids.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to assess project scope and specifications.
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for estimates and assess project requirements.
- Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
- Maintain and update a database of historical costs for future reference.
- Present and explain estimates to management and clients as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in estimating for construction projects, with a focus on civil and utilities.
