Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Attorney specializing in DUI Defense to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in criminal defense, particularly in handling DUI cases. This role involves representing clients, conducting legal research, and providing expert guidance throughout the litigation process.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to head a office based in Corvallis, OR. 

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in DUI defense cases in court and during negotiations
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies
• Prepare for trials by gathering evidence, preparing witnesses, and developing legal arguments
• Manage case files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and other parties
• Advise clients on their legal rights and options regarding DUI charges
• Stay updated on changes in DUI laws and court procedures
• Mentor and guide junior attorneys and staff on legal matters

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law Oregon
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DUI defense or criminal law
• Strong litigation skills with a proven track record of success in court
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities
• Outstanding negotiation and client representation skills
• In-depth knowledge of court procedures and trial preparation
• Ability to analyze complex evidence and develop strategic case approaches
