Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trial Attorney to assist our team in Trusts & Estates Litigation. We are seeking a highly competent Litigator more so than a T&E expert, but the ideal candidate will provide expert legal counsel, represent clients in complex litigation matters, and manage trust administration issues. The development of this role requires a deep understanding of estate planning and dispute resolution, as well as a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal representation and advice to clients in Trusts & Estates litigation matters
- Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Conduct legal research to support case strategies and outcomes
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
- Manage trust administration processes and ensure compliance with relevant laws
- Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and external parties to develop effective legal strategies
- Mentor and guide junior attorneys and legal staff in Trusts & Estates law
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the State Bar
- Strong understanding of trust administration and related legal issues
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Proven track record of successful litigation outcomes
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build client relationships
