REMOTE Tax Manager

We are a local full service CPA in the north Chicago area and have been in business for 80 years. 

** REMOTE candidates must reside in either IL, MN, WI or IN **

** Candidates must be open to spending their first week of employment on site (we'd put you up in a hotel/pay for flight **
 

What You Will Be Doing

Oversee the client experience including deadline management and client expectations
calculate tax effects of transactions, conduct technical tax research and manager tax partner expectations 
handle billing/wip management
review returns and manage tax workflow
coordinate multiple team engagements, deadlines and schedules 
operate in a dynamic environment
Help develop Senior and Staff accountants both technically and professionally through their career

 

What You Need for this Position

At least 12 years in public accounting with an emphasis in taxation 
Ideally already an experienced Sr Mgr, but candidates who have been a Manager for at least 3yrs are encouraged to apply
Experienced with both business tax (S-Corp and Partnerships) and Individual tax 
Prior experience working remote
Prior experience with CCH is preferred 
CPA license 
M.S. in Taxation is preferred
