We are seeking a proactive, results-driven Remote Sales Development Representative (SDR) to build pipeline and accelerate revenue growth. The SDR will identify, engage, and qualify inbound and outbound prospects, creating opportunities for Account Executives. This role requires strong experience with Salesforce and sales development best practices, a hunter mentality, and the ability to work independently from a remote location while collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect high-potential leads through outbound outreach (email, phone, social) and qualify inbound inquiries to build a strong sales pipeline.
- Manage and update all lead and activity data in Salesforce to ensure accurate pipeline tracking and reporting.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand prospects needs, qualify opportunities against ideal customer profile, and schedule product demos for Account Executives.
- Hit or exceed monthly and quarterly meeting and pipeline creation targets and KPIs.
- Partner with Account Executives and Marketing to optimize messaging, campaigns, and lead follow-up processes.
- Research target accounts and decision-makers to personalize outreach and increase conversion rates.
- Report on activity, conversion metrics, and prospect feedback to inform sales strategy and product-market fit.
- Maintain a strong understanding of company products and competitive landscape; communicate customer requirements and market trends back to the team.
- Support ad-hoc projects such as playbook improvements, outbound sequence experiments, and targeted campaign efforts.
- 2 years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or similar sales role with a proven track record of meeting quotas.
- Proficient with Salesforce for CRM management, pipeline tracking, and reporting.
- Strong sales skills including prospecting, objection handling, and consultative qualification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling outreach and follow-up messages.
- Comfortable working fully remote, self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time across multiple priorities.
- Experience working in a B2B SaaS or technology environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and Sales to drive results.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Nice-to-have: familiarity with ISO 27001 standards and SCO2 principles or related security/compliance knowledge.
