Based in Laurel, MD, we are an electrical contractor that specializes in commercial construction projects throughout the MD/DC/VA region.

Due to growth, we are looking for a QA/QC Director to join our team! Must have 5 years in a Senior Quality or Operational Leadership role with 12 years in electric utility construction (T&D, substation, underground). Experience working with IOUs, municipalities, or electric co-ops is also preferred.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop and implement our enterprise Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with utility construction standards, client-specific construction manuals, & NESC requirements.
  Maintain documentation systems to support claims defense and regulatory review.
• Verify trenching, conduit installation, cable placement, splicing, terminations, and restoration meet client and regulatory standards.
• Serve as executive quality liaison for utility clients.

What You Need for this Position

Must Have Skills: 

• 12 years in electric utility construction (T&D, substation, underground).
• 5 years in a Senior Quality or Operational Leadership role.
• Experience working with IOUs, municipalities, or electric co-ops.
• Strong knowledge of field construction sequencing and crew operations.

Preferred skills: 

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
