Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager specializing in Commercial Doors to oversee and manage projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of the commercial door industry, including procurement, estimating, and hardware specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of commercial door projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Prepare and review estimates, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing for door and hardware specifications.
- Oversee procurement processes, including purchasing materials and managing supplier relationships.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and codes, especially those related to Division 8 specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the commercial construction industry, preferably with a focus on doors and hardware.
- Strong understanding of estimating, procurement, and detailing processes specific to commercial doors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- Proficient in project management software and tools, with a strong attention to detail.
