Senior Controls Technician
Position Overview
The Senior Controls Technician is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of control systems in various industrial and commercial applications. This role involves working with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and ensuring optimal functionality through effective troubleshooting and control strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain control systems for HVAC and other building automation applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with BAS, HMI, SCADA, and DCS systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop control systems that meet project specifications and requirements.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and other staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in controls and automation systems.
- Proficiency in Building Automation Systems (BAS).
- Experience with HMI development and SCADA systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with process control, PID control, and HVAC control systems.
