Key Responsibilities
- Manage project budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial accuracy and alignment with project goals
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including project cost reports, profit and loss statements, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with government contracts and regulations
- Collaborate with project managers to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Monitor project expenditures and cash flow to ensure financial health
- Assist in the preparation of financial documentation for insurance and bonding purposes
- Utilize Sage 300 and Foundation software for financial tracking and reporting
- Support audits and provide necessary documentation as required.
- Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project accounting, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with government contracts and compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage 300 and Foundation
