Production Supervisor - Packaging

We are seeking qualified manufacturing team leaders for a Production Supervisor role at a local Warner Robins area manufacturing facility leading product Packaging/ all packaging line activities to ensure products are packed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with food industry standards. 

This role leads a team of packaging operators and works closely with quality, maintenance, and production leadership to meet daily output goals. 

In this role, your day to day duties will include the following:

• Supervise daily packaging operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met
• Coordinate staffing for packaging lines, assign tasks, and monitor team performance throughout the shift
• Ensure packaging equipment is operating correctly and partner with maintenance to address downtime or mechanical issues
• Verify compliance with GMP, HACCP, and all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Maintain accurate production records, packaging logs, and shift reports
• Train new and existing team members on packaging procedures, safety practices, and equipment operation
• Identify opportunities to improve line efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality
• Communicate production updates, challenges, and resource needs to management and cross functional teams

Ideally qualified leaders for this role, will bring with them the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or leadership training is a plus
• Previous experience in food manufacturing, with at least 1 to 3 years in a packaging or production leadership role
• Strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a diverse team in a fast paced environment
• Solid problem solving skills with the ability to respond quickly to production issues
• Comfortable working with production documentation, basic computer systems, and reporting tools
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments
