What You Will Be Doing
- Diagnose and determine root causes of issues in PCIe switch products, working closely with firmware, software, hardware, and board design teams to deliver solutions.
- Provide technical guidance to OEM and cloud customers on integrating PCIe switches into GPU, AI/ML, storage, and custom system designs, including architecture, schematic, and layout reviews.
- Analyze firmware, driver, OS, BMC logs, and PCIe protocol traces to identify issues; develop debug tools as needed.
- Create and maintain customer-facing product documentation.
- Build and maintain relationships with ecosystem partners to support joint customers.
- Train field teams on PCIe switch features and usage.
- Develop tools and processes to improve debugging efficiency and customer experience.
- Coordinate software releases with development teams and support DevOps in integrating fixes and producing release notes.
- Maintain lab equipment, inventory, and workspace organization.
- Represent PCIe switch products at industry events.
- Travel occasionally, including international travel.
What You Need For The Position
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or related field plus 8 years of relevant experience or Masters Degree in Computer Engineering or related field plus 6 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with protocol level PCIe debugging
- Proficiency with firmware, software and hardware
- Strong experience with C code
- System level experience, drivers, BIOS etc...
