Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preconstruction process for commercial and multifamily projects
- Develop detailed estimates and budgets based on project specifications
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimating
- Review and analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential challenges and cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare and present preconstruction proposals to clients and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards during the preconstruction phase
- Manage timelines and schedules to ensure timely completion of the preconstruction process
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in preconstruction and estimating roles
- Strong knowledge of commercial and multifamily construction processes
- Proficiency in project management software and estimating tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
