Paralegal
Position Overview
The client is one of the top civil construction contractors in MA. They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to support our legal team in contract-related matters. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing legal documents, conducting research, and managing claims to ensure the smooth operation of our legal processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents related to construction and contracts.
- Conduct legal research to support case preparation and claims management.
- Review and organize documentation for compliance with legal standards and requirements.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and documentation.
- Manage case files and maintain accurate records of all legal proceedings and correspondence.
- Assist in the preparation for trials, hearings, and meetings by organizing materials and evidence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in construction law or contract law.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures related to claims and contracts.
- Proficient in legal research tools and software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
