At least three years of prior estate planning experience.
Drafting estate planning documents, judicial council forms, and other pleadings and court documents.
Interacting with clients on substantive legal matters in estate planning, probate administration, and trust administration.
Working knowledge of Clio and experience with drafting software.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with other paralegals.
Experience preparing deeds and related documents.
Current California notary public commission preferred, or ability to obtain.
Possesses a paralegal certificate, and a bachelor's degree is preferred. Responsibilities:
Draft estate planning documents including trusts, wills, and ancillary materials.
Prepare probate and trust administration pleadings, judicial council forms, and related court filings.
Communicate with clients regarding estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters.
Manage case files using Clio and drafting software.
Prepare deeds and supporting documents for property transfers.
Assist attorneys with document organization, case management, and workflow coordination.
Perform notarizations as required.
