Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will represent healthcare professionals and institutions in cases of alleged medical negligence. This role aims to provide sound legal advice and effective defense strategies to protect our clients' interests in civil litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in medical malpractice cases from initial consultation through trial
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies
• Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions
• Develop and implement effective defense strategies in collaboration with clients and experts
• Negotiate settlements and communicate effectively with opposing counsel
• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and trends in medical malpractice and civil litigation

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical malpractice and civil litigation
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare regulations
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
