Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in medical malpractice cases from initial consultation through trial
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies
- Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions
- Develop and implement effective defense strategies in collaboration with clients and experts
- Negotiate settlements and communicate effectively with opposing counsel
- Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and trends in medical malpractice and civil litigation
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical malpractice and civil litigation
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare regulations
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
